YOP! That is the feeling when here in province of Québec in 1960 when we elected our first for a long time Liberal Party which made us go way further in the 20th century.
That new government made us free from the Catholic Church in our politics and put in place religion free schools and more.
With their vision of the future they also bught all of those little private power electric dams and made our Hydro Québec ours.
Since then many other achievements made us a society where it's good to live in like our Universal Health Care system and well subsidized schools, colleges and university making education affortable to all of our citizens.
We're certainly on the way. With a bunch of hard work and luck, we'll make it!
If the USA wants to reman competitive in world, it’s going have to. Japan, Switzerland, Singapore, Dubai and Germany have socialized medicine and they’re more capitalist than the USA.
They know to be successful they have to provide for all, not just the few, for the sake of national security and a stable economy.
