Friday...
I have always liked this story. When I used to go to Sauvie Island, I would pick up some of the freshwater clams that were left high and dry during low tide and throw them back into the river. I couldn't pick up each and every one, but I did what I could. I sometimes wondered if the clams got dizzy while spinning through the air.
