What can you expect for in a country where money-capitalism and American dream is to hord the more money you can do no matter how?
A country where your politics are for less regulations on everyone and any businesses.
Not surprising that many catastrophies are because the big buisinesses aren't regulated and do what ever they want. Ex. Boeing, bridges or trains deraillements to only name those ones.
Wait when T-rumpet will be in the White House and he will do more to enrich his buddies and laugh at the low income people of USA.
We have had maximum wage laws, but they applied to laborers not to the wealthy. Check Wikipedia for the British Statute of Labourers 1351 and Statute of Artificers 1562 which, due to a labor shortage, required those not independently wealthy to work and fixed maximum wages that they could be paid. The American colonies did likewise in the 1600s for fear that with high wages "the servants will be masters and the masters servants."
