So much truth in those.
ReplyDeleteThis is so sad. That progress is hamstrung by two people who obviously are making bank being devious.
ReplyDeleteSamantha Bee is looking good these days.
As the Eric Swalwelll cote, we from outside of USA democracies (and others like Putine and Xi etc to make their point that democracy is a failure) are sadly looking what is going on in your country about «voting rights».
ReplyDeleteIt's more than time, maybe too late, that USA enters the 21st century and let the old «slavery» and «segregation» times behind.
As a Canadian it's very much a none sense that ONE party can gerrymander the voting system to advantage them and worse, saying that the elections were rigged if they don't win. Isn't it the behavior of a spoil child when mom sais NO to purchase a toy or candies..
Power and big money are now the main values in your country and not the good of ALL American citizens.
JiEL - You are absolutely correct.
ReplyDeleteYou may not have come across my message and opinion on the matter, Mr Swalwell. Yet I concur with the FACT that U.S. politics are under scrutiny from countries all over the world. And I a part of that foreign world.
ReplyDeletePlease keep reminding your constituents and citizens that the United States of America cannot pretend to be both a leading country AND a shaming example to be followed, at least not the way it is currently managed.
Back in the days here, us people made a Revolution, time for you to think about doing yours. But just choose your pick wisely. For as juicy and sugarish the 'orange' juice may seem, please keep in mind that it's also the first stage color of rot.
Laurent - I believe a revolution is coming in the good ol' U.S.A., and its color will be that of rot.
ReplyDeleteAt the beginning France out from their own Revolution and guillotined their king, helped USA to get independance from the British crown.
ReplyDeleteLaFayette was one of those French that helped the colony to free themselves.
Isn't it odd that now, USA wants to make a new revolution to put an «orange pumpkin» at the head of its country as an autocratic leader who has NO respect for the Constitution.
JiEL - Yes, it's very odd.
