No.2 Says it all as the US Constitution urgently need a HUGE update.
Our 1867 Canadian Constitution was updated in 1982 by Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau with the add of our Canadian Rights and Liberty Charter that give us freedom of race, sex and religion.
For the last pic, just this morning there was a radio show where a music fan just pointed out that the USA's Star Spangled Banner antom was taken from a music of an Irish pub song in the old days. He even played that pub song which is really the same that you antom music.
He also pointed out that the French antom music is from a musical phrase of a Mozart opus.
Nothing new under the sun as we say in French.
JiEL - Absolutely, out constitution needs to be updated. Very interesting about the anthems copying from others.
I was interested to note that the Star Spangled banner anthem was adopted as early as 1929. "God Save America" or as I know it "God Save the Queen" was still being used in Hollywood patriotic films into the 40s...
