But let's not teach the truth to America's children because... we wouldn't want the white kids to feel 'bad'. That was the justification one white lady made at a school board meeting... never mind how 'bad' native americans might feel about the lie that Christopher Columbus (who was Spanish, btw - NOT white) discovered America. F people who want to get selective about their history. It happened. Deal with it.
