Love both of these. And the last one nails it. I don't understand why we aren't rewriting the constitution. We can't run the world based on such an old document... point to a business that survived because they stuck to the first business plan they drafted and only made minor edits to?
As Uptonking I always said that your OLD Constitution is outdated and need a real make over to be in phase with the 21st century's USA.
Alot has changed in many American society and the way you use your old Constitution is really dangerous. Just pointing out that damn Second Amendment that is from another time when guns were chooting one bullet at the time and that USA had not lot of milicia too .
our Canadian Constitution of 1867 was renewed in 1982 and included a bran new Canadian Charter of Rights and Liberty that did insure equality to all Canadians no matter what religion, race or sex there were living in.
We banned religion from all the levels of our governments, federal, provincial and municipal.
JiEL - I wish religion could be banned from government here. As for the constitution: some people regard it the same way they do the bible.
