  1. OMG! This is so sad and outrageous.

With the recent discovery of thousands of young natives graves on ground of Cahtolic schools to assimilate those poor native children, we also have as Canadians to aknowledge that our past wasn't all the time very glorious.

There are lot of outgoing investigations here in Canada, and some say it'll be even worse in USA, our government as stated some regrets and asured that they'll be a form of reconciliation and money to help the families of those ancectors to heal in a way.

Our July 1st Canada Day celebrations will not be held in many cities here to show our support to the pain of our native people.

We also here had some issues with racism over black people but never on the magnitude that what was going on in USA.

Our past history has to be told in schools so we never will do such atrocities again.

  2. JiEL - Thanks for reading this so quickly. I've been reading the stories about what had happened to the native children in Canada. Very few invading imperialists have bloodless hands.

  3. I too am Canadian. I hope the truth will come out on all these graves of children! How farmers and plantation owners got to enslave the black people again is a crime on humanity, also the rest of the brutality to innocent black people!

  5. Fascinating bit of history... AND NOT TAUGHT IN SCHOOLS. I had never heard of this until today. It's outrageous. It explains the war on drugs. It is insane. And the Repulsivecans, if allowed, don't want us to know about this. I have come to the conclusion, if you have a problem with people talking about race and race history? You best check yourself... because you're a racist. We must talk about this. We must continue to learn. Thanks, Rick. Great job.

  6. And some whites can not figure out why some of us embrace other cultures. Simply put we are ashamed of our past and am trying to repair the damage.

  7. Thank you for sharing this information. As a black man, I have to admit that I was unaware of much of this hateful treatment of my own people. America. Land of the free for white people. Every one else, watch your back.
