  1. I'm always flabbergasted to see how «non fonctional» is the USA's governement.

Democrats have the Congress and Senate majority and even the President is Democrat and still you cannot pass any legislation to help the «We the People» and put in place laws and budgets to take your country at work and out of the «swamp» (shit).

In Ottawa we have, since 2 1/2 years, a MINORITY government (Liberal) and at all time the opposition could make it down but in the interest of our Canadian populartion and because of the pandemic and economic situation, ALL the other 4 parties were helping this minority government to be sure that Canada is doing well for its population to get out of this crisis.

Your two parties system is making it very hard to govern when even a minority party in the opposition can block any attempt to pass good legislation.

And I'm not even talking about your racist states which are making voting rights at stake.
This is so outrageous as USA want to be the world leader and beaken of democracy and human rights.

Joe Biden has an almost impossible mission to stear that huge boat toward decency and humanity.

  3. Nowadays, mixing cultures seems to publicly depend more on politic wills and engagements (whatever the horizons) than on being a natural thing to do.
Activists obviously have a right to rise their voices on whatever their matters, but I will swap an activists demonstration anytime over an exchange of cooking knowledge at a local/neighborhood center where sharing has a stronger meaning than shouting or showing off.
In other terms: claiming communities rights will never be as valuable as to actually living the inherent diversity of a community.
Why should I care if a neighbor is Jewish or Muslim as long as he/she teaches me to cook their fantastic gran'gran'mother's recipe, and the other way around? And while sharing that meal we'd do the same as to sharing our thoughts and ways of life.
