Post-10071...

Our humble home. Jerry's stuff arrived yesterday! While this trailer is by no means a "tiny house", with all the boxes everywhere it sure seems like it now. Most of them will remain taped shut until we find a larger space closer to town.

This picture was taken not long after I bought the place. I planted that little tree shortly after moving in here; it's now about 25 feet tall.

Well, it's quite nice. Looks good, buddy! :)

What about renting a storage unit for 6 months to see how much of that stuff you r-e-a-l-ly need. Perhaps put some of your stuff in storage for a bit, to make room for some of Jerry's cherished pieces, and see how it goes.

Maybe a bit of compromise from each of you may negate the need to move...? Because moving - now THAT'S a REAL drag!!

It's making it "HOME" that really counts! Many happy years together!

Howard - I couldn't see spending the money on a storage unit, especially since his boxes of stuff aren't that big of a deal to live with. We ARE going to find a larger place after a few months, when his place in New York finally closes early next year.

Hope you both had a good Thanksgiving. Things will settle out. I think you once mentioned that you live on an island right next to the river. So, I hope your next spot will relieve from any worries of seasonal river ravaging. Best wishes!!!

Home is where the heart is...cliche, but true. Wherever you and Jerry are happy is what matters.
