I have to be honest with you:
I haven't had a lot of enthusiasm for blogging lately.
I hope that is because you have returned from a long and busy trip. There must be a lot of wrap up, or unwrap up, to do. This is a major change in life for you, so that is understandable. Is that mother cat and her baby still around? I hope you and Jerry are well and not feeling overwhelmed.
I go through feeling regularly, especially with so few comments, but when I look at the statistics and see the number of visits each day, I know that I must keep on posting! Another great fractal too! Let your new life settle. Hugs to both of you, Patrick :-)
I don't remember how long I've been following you--seems like a few years. I certainly understand wanting to slow down, but really hope you don't stop. But do what is best for you.

It can get tedious at times...so I fully understand. Especially since Jerry has recently moved in. Take some time off and enjoy having him there!

It's quite understandable that a daily blog could wear you down at times. Give it a rest, maybe, and come back part time, maybe?
I would miss you if you gave it up permanently.
Possible solution for the feral cat/kitty : call animal control. I'm sure every large metro area has a catch/spay or neuter/release program.
Meanwhile, continue to enjoy the company of your Main Man. ;-)
