Post-1276...
These are pix from the Mississippi River flooding, an awful mess.
For several days now, and probably for several more, the Columbia River, in which my little island sits, is a bit over flood stage (16.5 feet more than normal levels), which doesn't mean we're flooding for some reason. Fortunately, this island sticks perhaps another 24 feet out of the water. But I bet some of the people who live in the houseboats are a little nervous!
