Mr. Hightower's comment is so REAL it is awesome, really AWESOME! Yet some people seem to be greedy about "doing better", lest anybody else discover their secret.
When Henry Ford upped his factory workers' pay to $5.00/day, the financial people said he'd go bankrupt. YET, it allowed the workers to buy the cars they were building. Which upped assembly quality in the process. Why would THEY want to fix something on a car THEY built and bought? OR be responsible for an issue on a friend's new car? Production and sales increased afterward. Business boomed as a result.
