It's an adult Cuttlefish, Rick. As creepy looking as they are when they are alive, then are ten times worse when they are dead! The first time I saw one it was floating in the shallows off of Australia and boy, I tell you - that made me think twice about wanting to swim in the ocean again!
Ya know, that wouldn't surprise me Big Dude - I know they are related to squid and octopus and share a lot of the same traits and taste might apply here as well. I have eaten squid and a bit of octopus (it was a Japanese thing) but I just don't think I could stomach [no pun intended] trying one of these beasties out. I guess there's some truth when they say that beautiful food tastes better.
