3- Like many of the abandoned castles and palais in Germany and Europa. Towards the end of Ww2, one of my oncles in the Wehrmacht passed a bombed out manor house near Schwerin. He stopped to rest at the house, when he heard musik coming from a zirkus clown playing a flute and leading a group of children into town like a pied piper. Oncle said it was eerie as they went down the road with the musik dissipating, and my oncle left alone in silence. (vvs)
