What Melon Kusk did in Wisconsin could never been done here in Canada as the donation to a politic party is topped at $500 per citizen. Also, here we do not elect judges as liberal or conservative they are nominated by the department of justice (ministery of justice) with the suggestion of candidates list coming from the other judges and lawyers. Our judges cannot show or tell their politic beliefs and have to be neutral and apply the laws and the Canadian Constitution.
One small step for humanity, one giant cheesy step for democracy
ReplyDeleteHe was pretty amazing. I hope it inspired people to at least join in on the April 5 protest nearest them.
