My generation, the Boomer generation, really fucked this country and planet over. We are the generation that established that "Greed is good!" ...and the roosters have come back to the coop.
Not so sure I agree with that Capitalism. There was the Greatest Generation, then their children, born between them and the Baby Boomers. To them, they were protected as much as possible from the Depression, WWII was a newsreel, Communism terrified them, made them conform, too young for Korea, and aged out of Vietnam, they had everything given to them.
They resisted Civil Rights, didn't protest Vietnam, voted for Regean, lower taxes fewer services, and ended up being frightened their entire lives. These are my parents now at 86.

All three excellent points. I now live in my bunker and no longer watch the news. 2025 promises to be a most terrifying year.
