That first shot is masterful! And beautiful! What could be just a normal shot is made magical with the positioning of the lighting, which accents the slight body hairs and "the hole" itself. Great! Thanks, Rick! Hope you are feeling better as time progresses!
I too, was struck by this picture, which at first glimpse took me back to 2001: A Space Odyssey. I envisioned a space probe nearing the docking port of the mother ship. The lighting made me think of Kubrick.
