I was reminded yesterday, listening to a Diane Rehm podcast with Paul Krugman, that many of "the wealthy" signed onto a letter saying they COULD pay higher taxes. Yet such things usually fall on deaf ears (i.e., conservatives) who believe that "low/no taxes" are the only way to prosperity. As public services are diminished or deleted as there is less money to fund them. What part of "income and expenses" do these alleged financial wizards not understand??!!

ReplyDeleteThe biggest problem with the men making that much money is they never seem to spread it around to non-profits...or even to nurture other businesses.
