If humans disappeared from the earth, or our society collapsed vis some cataclysm, after a fw thousand years there would be no trace we ever existed (the pyramids and most modern damns notwithstanding).
Isn't it amazing that such large things are just allowed to sit around and decay? Think of all the ghosts that live there!
