  1. CAN'T forget the amount of rise in profits of a few oil companies, either. Of course, since the board members get paid on such, with company stock, sometimes, plus their shareholders, they can claim they were doing their "fiduciary duty" in such things. AS they also manipulate supplies of crude oil to result in those higher gasoline/diesel prices all consumers have to pay. "Fiduciary duty" means they take care of the "clients", but in the case of motor fuels and public utilities, it also means their CUSTOMERS, OR SHOULD. Where's that "Windfall Profits Tax", with the proceeds going to under-funded social programs or similar?
