My dad (an architect) had a huge collection of these plan books, and as a teen I would spend HOURS pouring over them, fantasizing about what I personally would do with them (kinda like porn, y'know?). This no doubt played no small part in my own decision to enter the architectural field. (Leaving it 20-some years ago is still my greatest regret in life.)
Mark - I started drawing floor plans in my early teens and my father said to me once: "The kind of house you design would cost $40,000!" That was a looong time ago.
Love the second one because every bedroom has access to a patio area. Nice!
