This was the scene awaiting Jerry and me when we went to the clothing optional section of beach on Sauvie Island yesterday. Usually, this is sand all the way past the fallen tree to the left. You can see Mount St. Helens in the distance. We moved to higher ground further downriver and spent a nice couple of hours there.

ReplyDeleteSauvie Island (Collins beach) is hands down one of my favorite places on the planet. So glad you were able to enjoy some time there.

ReplyDeletePat - We were told by someone out there that water was being released from the Bonneville Dam east of town.
