A favorite along with Forbidden Planet and the original The Day The Earth Stood Still - all on the A list - many of the folks in these films went on to be well-known movie and tv stars - Frances Bavier, Billy Gray, Patricia Neal , Sam Jaffe while all 8 of the main stars in Forbidden Planet were well known for later tv and movies - Barbara Rush went on to a long career in movies and tv - thanks for posting
