Rick, I gotta tell ya, of all the political quotes you have posted here, my favorite is in the margin, and I look for it every day. I have memorized it in the hopes I can use it in conversation some day with my idiot neighbor. It's the Bill Maher quote about how Republicans work - "while you're watching the clown fuck the pony, they're breaking into your car".
I think of the US as being a plutocracy not an oligarchy. I suppose either definition has its points though.
