Post-10398...
After being nauseated all morning, after eating dry toast and drinking black tea, I threw up, and now I feel much better. So I've made the executive decision to quit the Prednisone because I believe it's the culprit. I am not a believer in tolerating a cure that's worse than the problem. I've operated this way with my HIV meds over the years as well. Of course I've informed my doctor, I always do.

I went to Urgent Care yesterday since I wanted some medical assistance to deal with this illness. I was sent home with a 5-day course of antibiotics for the "noise" in one of my lungs, and a 5-day course of Prednisone to help me breath better. Some of you may not know that I have COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) and whenever I get an upper respiratory infection, my breathing suffers a lot. Sometimes my body doesn't handle medications well and I've been feeling sick to my stomach ever since starting this regime. I'm afraid this will be all that I post for today, unless I feel better later in the day.

Jerry and I are back home! Unfortunately, I came down with a cold a few days before we left and am now nursing myself back to health.
