The Job Creator meme is totally off, though the point is made.
A hell of a lot more jobs will be lost with de-funding the NEA... Those dollars sent to arts organizations create thousands of more jobs within the communities around the country. In NV alone it has been estimated that the arts contribute somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 million dollars to the economy. Those jobs will disappear - and rapidly!
